SyArt Sorrento Festival 2022

Villa Fiorentino hosts the sixth edition of SyArt Festival scheduled from October 8 to November 30.

Over the time, the event has become an important artistic showcase that attracts contemporary artists from all over the world, so as “to weave a dialogue” through images, colours and emotions.

The event, curated by SyArt Gallery in Sorrento, is proposed as an exhibition primarily for emerging artists as well as “historicized” names on the international art panorama.

As part as Fondazione Sorrento events calendar, SyArt Sorrento Festival also become a container for numerous events and meetings to animate the exhibition days.

Educational activities are made to local schools as well as foreign istitutions so as to ignite the curiosity of students of all cultures and backgrounds.

The artworks – previously selected – of the artists participating in the collective are exhibited throughout the year inside SyArt Gallery, located a few steps from the Villa Comunale in Sorrento.

To ensure a “democratic” visibility as well as a wide cultural offer, each edition presents always new artists.

During the event,site-specific artworks are carried out: city center – thanks to the collaboration of some artists – is enriched with artistic installations in order to make the Land of Sirens an opendoor museum.

SyArt Festival is organized in cooperation between SyArt Gallery, Fondazione Sorrento, the Municipality of Sorrento and Arbiter.
