The exhibition will be open daily with free admission\, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. \nPath and style of the artists\nThis project was born from the artistic partnership between Moura and Julsip. It represents a journey of inner exploration\, following its debut in the historic Cloister of San Francesco in Sorrento last May. \nThe exhibition invites visitors to go beyond materialism and reconnect with their soul\, offering a reflective and emotional experience. \nAlthough Moura and Julsip have different artistic languages\, they share the same vision: through art\, they aim to guide the audience on an inner journey to rediscover their true selves and surpass rational boundaries. \nTheir works encourage visitors to look beyond the visible\, opening up a dialogue with their own inner world. \nUseful information on the “Anima” exhibition\n\nThe exhibition will be held at Villa Fiorentino\, in the heart of Sorrento\, from 19 to 26 October 2025. It will be possible to visit it every day\, with morning hours from 10:00 to 13:00 and afternoon hours from 16:00 to 19:00. DESCRIPTION:From 4 October to 9 November 2025\, the Sorrento Foundation hosts the photographic exhibition “Auschwitz – Birkenau – lest we forget” by Raffaele Federico in the spaces of Villa Fiorentino. \nThe exhibition itinerary is an intense journey to places of memory: the Nazi extermination camps\, documented through black and white images that convey the full sense of the horror of the Shoah. \nThe Auschwitz Birkenau exhibition at Villa Fiorentino\nBroken tracks\, barbed wire\, empty shacks\, mountains of shoes and objects belonging to the victims: each photograph becomes a testimony that reminds us of the importance of not forgetting. \nThe inauguration will be held on Saturday 4 October at 6.00 pm\, with the presentation of the prof. Giovanni Fiorentino and the historical notes of prof. Domenico Torre. The exhibition can be visited free of charge every day from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00. \nRaffaele Federico: the photographer of the exhibition\nBorn in Sant’Agnello in 1962\, Raffaele Federico is a surgeon who has cultivated a passion for photography for over forty years. Since the 1980s he has participated in group shows and competitions\, establishing himself for his rigorous style and use of black and white. \nOver the years he has documented religious events\, popular festivals and traditions of the Sorrento peninsula\, until arriving at works of international scope. The Auschwitz and Birkenau exhibition represents the culmination of his photographic research: a dry and empathetic gaze that invites us to reflect on the universal value of memory. \nVisiting this exhibition means not only admiring high-impact photographs\, but also participating in a journey of awareness.\nVilla Fiorentino awaits you every day until November 9th: an opportunity not to be missed to keep the memory alive and pass it on to the new generations.

DESCRIPTION:A special evening\, where music overcomes every geographical and cultural boundary: on Tuesday 29 July\, at 6.00 pm\, the Mirò terrace of Villa Fiorentino will host a new and fascinating concert that brings Neapolitan song and Chinese popular music into dialogue. \nConcert between Neapolitan song and Chinese popular music\nThe initiative was born from a collaboration between the Sorrento Foundation and the Mephisto Opera of Shanghai\, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture\, and represents an artistic bridge between Italy and China\, Sorrento and Shanghai. Two distant musical traditions but profoundly linked by the expressiveness\, identity and evocative power of their popular repertoires. \nAn international ensemble of voices and piano\nGiving life to this exciting concert will be an ensemble made up of nine opera singers\, including tenors\, sopranos and baritones\, accompanied by a maestro on the piano. The voices will alternate on stage in a musical journey that enhances the affinities and differences between the two cultures\, celebrating music as a universal language. \nAn event included in the program of the exhibition on Joan Miró\nThe concert is part of the rich calendar of cultural events planned during the exhibition dedicated to Joan Miró\, underway in the rooms of Villa Fiorentino.
