The master Roberto De Simone and the writer Alessandra D'Antonio will be the protagonists of the two events of the festival "Sorrento ... Again", sponsored by the City of Sorrento in the picturesque setting of the cloister of San Francesco, with the artistic direction of Giuliana Gargiulo.
It starts on August 20, at 19.30, with the presentation of "Satyricon in Naples '44", published by Einaudi, where De Simone, undisputed master of the Neapolitan musical culture, tells the "scandalous saga of war." An irreverent autobiographical novel, who bows to Petronius and winks at Fellini.
On August 27, again at 19.30, it will be the turn of Alessandra D'Antonio, with Maurizio De Giovanni author of "A Long Night", editions Hundred Authors. Stories that drag through the alleys of Naples, where the dream of a young boy's bar and his love for the game have to contend with the shadow of organized crime. The evening will be enriched by the extraordinary participation of Gino Rivieccio.
